Rescue Drysuit Seam Tape - Supplier
We use hot-melt tape from Japanese manufacturer MELCO™, and we can also provide cheaper hot-melt tape from China. We use a heat sealing machine to weld the hot melt tape to the seam of the rescue drysuit, which has achieved the purpose of waterproofing. This process is called hot tape. Different fabrics are suitable for different types of hot melt tape, and the temperature control and feeding speed of the heat sealing machine need to be adjusted.
MELCO™ Hot Melt Tape
Explain: T series can be used for microporous hydrophobic membrane breathable fabric. XT series is used for non-porous hydrophilic membrane breathable fabric. TQ series is a new generation of products, which can be used for breathable fabric with microporous hydrophobic membrane, and can also be used for breathable fabric with non-porous hydrophilic membrane.
Note: MELCO™ hot melt tapes are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
